Fast Monty's Stage 3 Extended Oil Pan Skid Plate is specifically designed to cover vehicles equipped with a scatter shield, with an extended footprint in 3/16" steel, tapped holes, and replaceable Delrin pads to handle the punishment of speed bumps, dips, and road debris.
Why the Extended Plate?
A scatter shield (bellhousing safety shield) adds bulk around the transmission/bellhousing area that a standard-length skid plate leaves exposed. This extended version closes that gap, giving you full coverage from the oil pan through the scatter shield zone — critical protection for any performance or race-prepped A-Body that sees street use.
